Agree with comment No. 3. The US are clearly embarrassed and are being vindictive.

Wish Johnson would grow a backbone and and protect this UK citizen by stating that he will not be sent to the USA where the death penalty still exists.

Domestic Violence Lessons? 10:48am on 25 Nov 2009 Harridan Hatty Harperson hellbent on getting her barmy Gender equalities bill/obsession into law and now into primary schools? Surely this sort of stuff should be the responsibility of parents? I know this Nanny State wants to interfere in all aspects of family life but this is beyond ridiculous now.

I would wager that the vast majority of 5 yr olds come from happy and loving backgrounds yet this Minister wants Gender equality etc 'taught' to them? Butt out Hatty! How dare you think you know how to bring up my child/children better than I do?

Plus, children this young who have no experience of it could be frightened and confused at being taught about domestic violence.

After all, sex education being 'taught' at our children at ever earlier ages hasn't exactly solved anything has it? Err - which country in Europe has the highest rate of teenage pregancies, Hatty?

Why are you insulting the intelligence of the audience you already have and prepared to alienate them in the futile quest to attract those who find this celeb dross engrossing?

A role model or a "She Chav"? 09:16am on 23 Nov 2009 I find it staggering that Nicky can host this 'discussion' on this non-subject with a straight face. This would be better suited to a Jeremy Kyle type programme not your morning phone-in (IMHO).

I accept that some people are interested (obsessed?) but it's beyony my comprehension why.
Anonymity - but who is it protecting? 11:41am on 20 Nov 2009 Take a look at the Facebook page (link on right hand side) and read the comments there about this 'story'. I think you will be comforted by the fact that a number of people think the same way about this sort of stuff as we do.

How about some bloomin' balance for once? How about having someone on who thinks this was just horse trading (again)? Or someone who thinks she shouldn't have been chosen? You know - someone who doesn't go along with the New Labour/Guardianista/Beebist line?

There are plenty of us out there you know!
