How Carolinians see the race row 09:29am on 19 Sep 2009 We are all of some race. and we are all "racist" in many ways. What has happened in America is that folks of white northern European stock have been singled out for promoting and defending our race, while groups like Hispanics, Jews and Blacks get away with racism by calling it politics and pride. We each need to see how our own views are racist, good or bad and how to live together as one nation in one world.
Damaged Special Relationship? 6:01pm on 05 Sep 2009 WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. THIS IS OUR SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP. One language, one history, one common cultutre. Nothing can change this. It is the state of our failed governments today that is causing problems. These new internationalist folks catter to pressure groups, i.e. Israel, Muslim breakaway types, bad bankers, racists, internationalist terror and drug grangs...not WE the people. Basic reform is needed on both sides of the pond, and in our other democracies over the world.
There is a huge problem however, the entire world fears our people getting ourselves into the political organization we NEED to survive and flourish. We are over and over and over accussed of the real racism practiced by others. These endless critics fail to look at the benefits the Empire brought to the world. Just try to imagine the world today if our teachers, ministers, engineers, scientists and governments had not been working to bring billions of folks out the the dark ages and even stone age into the modern world. Since the war so much of the true history of ours has been turned on us, pointing to only the bad parts of this grand adventure, forgetting what great benefit Empire brought to common folks all over the globe. It is wrong to judge our intentions today using the standards of 200 years ago. For example, most slavery is gone now, that was our Empire's doing, not because of others wishes! The one size fits all world socialist internationalist racists are crushing the very folks that could take us into a bright new world based on good science and true progress...look were they are trying so hard to take us today in America...it's not working. For many peoples of the world today are trying to deminishing us because of immagined and sometimes true failings of our past. This has gone way past reason, these peoples were often much harder on each other than the PAX, world economy and later, self-government we brought to them. For the all, and universal critism of our history today, the "special relationship" is more common and strong today than ever, or it would not be a topic of such continued interest. The only alternative to our special realationship is one world internationalism, and it exists only in the minds of those that want to control us and put us down. If British people were allowed to untite and go our own way, it would be a light to guide the whole world in the great darkness we now see before us.
Healthcare row gets physical? 00:55am on 05 Sep 2009 The healthcare "debate" is so angry and heated because of the millions on illegal immigrants here in the USA now, mostly from Mexico, and the attitude that they bring to this issue, namely treason! American citizens see this as more theft and a futher taking away of our nation's culture, laws and freedoms, it's not about healthcare. Then there is more anger and frustration about their unchecked large birthrates and even more anger at the role of illegal, dangerous drugs and the role this drug evil brings into American life and politics. Look at the headlines from Mexico, you wouldn't want any of this in the UK, how could you think American citizens would stand for this mess? Greed, anti-European/American racism, and theft are the real issues, not heathcare.
Coming back to work will be tough for Obama 00:46am on 02 Sep 2009 America is a very angry place today. Obama will not even prove he is a legal citizen, how many will support this, let alone health care reform while the nation is broke. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is the biggest problem in this country, not health care. Deceit, anti-white racism, drugs and more drugs, lies, greed and outright theft are everywhere from government to business to general education. Real citizens have had it, but do not know where to turn. It would be natural for honest, traditional USA citizens to turn to Britain for help, but you seem pocessed by the same evil forces now. We live in fear of what happens next. How could so much go so wrong since 1945, in our homelands and all over the globe? Why, why are English speaking peoples keept from controlling our own destiney? To say we have been sold out by our our own leaders is an understatement. The future looks very dark indeed. In our long, distinguished history, a great king or queen, or some other true leader has come forward to save the people and our unique way of free life. God have mercy on us now, and may another true leader, find the way to safety and real progress for our troubled civilization and divided nations. Democracy has been hyjacked by the bad guys.
Too European? 6:48pm on 31 Jul 2009 Re: 898, Thank you for the truth, it just needs to be said many times over. British folks need to talk!!! We are not really able when EVERY issue turns to "Israel" or colored race issues. We have one of the worlds only true civilizations and are about to have it taken from us. I am told alot of Britain has been lost too, what will it be like when it becomes to late for we British to save our selves and help the rest of the world save itself? Just think of what is being tossed away and why. America is fighting for the life and the culture that severs us all so well. There is way to much intrusion into Anglo-American affairs now and especially from the Middle East. No American I know supports this or even knows why and how it happened, but we all feel sold out. Our government must be controlled by outsiders, and it has messed up our homeland, government and European way of life, but folks are starting to fight back. American citizens have every right to say NO to any more of this downgrading of our life and fight it with the Constitution and law behind us.
Too European? 3:26pm on 31 Jul 2009 WHY DOES MOST EVER ISSUE ON THIS SITE GET TO "ISRAEL"... this is messing up any debate on other imortant issues and Israel does as it pleases anyway.

Too European? 3:02pm on 31 Jul 2009 The ONLY USA there is... is BRITISH, that is what made us GREAT. So we are European in all the ways that count. The evil people who are trying to take America over are ILLEGAL, TRAITORS. Just a bit more trouble and there will be a Civil War of legal, good citizens against gangs, drug lords, and illegal traitors who want to take over our land. Mr. Webb is promoting this and should be sent to mexico. Americans do NOT want anyone trying to give our beloved nation to ILLEGAL TRAITORS. AMERICA IS BRITISH, or there will be NO America. BEWARE!!! this has gotten out of hand. We fear for our future, and the crazy logic and fuzzy thinking behind this pure racism that has invaded our homeland.

The war ends - with a whimper 1:49pm on 01 Mar 2009 The more I read here, the more obvious it is, many areas can not fully care for themselves. Many are monsrtousities left over from colonial boundries that worked for Empire, but not for new nations. The US and UK should work out the best methods for these areas to succeed and with UN? help, at least offer help to end problems not open old wounds from the past. There appears to be a reknewed interest in tribalism and racism and hostile religion. These are the dangers, as we have seen. What is sad, is that it appears, most people love to form gangs and kick the suffing out of their less fortunate neighbors. Is this original sin? or is it individuals to blame?
