Do you actually know how hard an Ironman is?

I do think that 'minority' sports don't get the exposure, and therefore respect that they, and their athletes deserve. Cycling for example, Cavendish, Wiggins's tour this year etc.
My first time at Spa will live with me forever 11:02am on 02 Sep 2009 Great Blog Jake, really interesting reading. I love some of the pieces you do on the race day, this week when all the guys were talking about Spa was great! Great music as well normally.

One question, why is the F1 Forum not online this week? I missed it unfortunatly.

Unknown car makers like Ferrari, Alfa, Bugatti etc all were before they got into F1? They might be unknown now, but that doesn't mean they'll be less competitive, or less well knwon in a few years time.

My view on the whole thing is that it's all a bit of a farse. As Max Mosely put it in one interview; if you give in to Ferrari all the time, then there is no point in having a governing body, and you may as well just elt Ferarri run it. I don't think ferarri will leave, and I think to a degree it's a hollow threat to get what they want. That said, they're so stubborn that they'd probarbly leave now just so they don't look like fools!

I don't like the way politics is over-shadowing the on track racing, which has been great. That said, I do find myself reading every blog on the matter, and hearing about it on the news. So maybe, in terms of coverage for the sport, Bernie won't be too dissapointed at this stage!
The secret to being like Mike 3:34pm on 21 Aug 2008 I don't personally believe he is the greatest Olympian, because it's seemingly easy for him. He might be the most talented, successful, dominating Olympian, but i think the greats are people who've struggled against all odds to succeed. Redgrave for example, diabetes and colitis, and still goes on to win a Gold in Sydney, at what age i can't remember, but it was around the 40's wasn't it?
