Round Up: Internet Radio 5:33pm on 30 Nov 2009 Not good enough news though Mr reynolds,If I want to listen to any shows from BBC Local it is still 80k MP3?
I now as from yesterday have a new Amplifier http://www.cambridgeaudio.com/set_territory.php?TID=1&Redirect=/summary.php?PID=373 I think it deserves the best treatment & 80k MP3 certainly is not.

Changes to BBC Weather site 7:54pm on 27 Nov 2009 I cope fine with it as it is now,improvements are welcome but I think it will be designed for those who aint computer literate.
The future of audio: the UK Radioplayer 8:00pm on 24 Nov 2009 Thanks for the feedback,I though will not tune into the fabulous amount of BBC local radio shows in the current 80kMP3 audio quality with or without a radio player, so hopefully by the time it launches these shocking audio problems will be addressed. It bugs me how much bit rate goes into hd tv,yet the poor audio for radio is so still upon us.

Smooth radio is 64k wma..crap sound....BBC Local is 80k mp3 rubbish. no point having a pretty player with crap audio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Improvements to BBC Local Radio online 01:33am on 29 Oct 2009 It now appears you have finally upgraded the BBC local live streams to 128k aac.

So what is preventing you from giving us the same on listen again? Instead of 80k mp3 streams? Now you are are getting a better live stream what is preventing a 128k listen again like bbc national & Nations?
Been away from the bbc radio set up for a few weeks,cheesed off with lack of info,so been making do with decent streams around the world and youtube but if BBC get their act together I will come back.
