Lily brings a smile to TMS 10:49am on 23 Aug 2009 I'm glad I found this blog. I only heard the first half of the interview, before I went off for my lunch, and I had no idea who Jonathan Agnew was speaking to as Lily was introduced only as the "mystery guest". It remained a mystery for me, until now. I guess I'm something like the Judge who had never heard of the Beatles, but my pop music listening habits waned in the era of the Stone Roses and Inspiral Carpets.
Britain's Got Diversity 3:12pm on 01 Jun 2009 I thought the all black 'Flawless' were better dancers - technically if not imaginatively. Stavros and son are just hilarious in anybody's money.

Apple's "brave" price rise 1:40pm on 04 Mar 2009 @#26 - the difference used to be PPC chips, these days it's just build quality (quality components configured for the OS instead of Windows running on any old hardware), and design quality.

I was holding out for these updates, but I can't justify the price hike for the specs. I may still buy a refurbished iMac if I see one in the next couple of weeks, otherwise I'll be getting a PC - for the first time.

A bunch of disparate peoples from different cultures living cheek to jowl on the same plot of land aren't going to trust one another. There's no common purpose.

Why? As people get older their tastes change. When I was 18 I never listened to Radio 1, it was too tame. I listened to pirate radio. Now I enjoy Radio 3 and 4.

As a rule, teenagers don't pay for the licence fee. Maybe the BBC is aiming at the wrong market?

I'm going to have to take issue with that my ignorant friend. Wales most definitely IS and was a country. The reason it isn't represented on the Union flag is because it was annexed by Edward I and was then incorporated with England in 1536 Act of Union.

And 3 golds for a population of 3 million ain't bad.

But I'm an animator, and old 'Monkey' fan, so maybe biased. More 2d animation commissions by the Beeb please!
