• Journalism, PGP and Freezers 07:07am on 29 Sep 2009 With the increasing number of journalists not being able to make it because of the changing economy I wonder how many of them will turn to new media to earn more of their income? it seems everyone is feeling the effects of the economy even the melanotan & afamelanotide worlds. Now Rupert Murdoch of Newscorp fame is talking about monetizing online news by making people pay for it. It makes one wonder if those who frequent news websites are going to start turning more and more to news outlets that rely more heavily on citizen journalism? It's going to be interesting to see how Murdoch's plan pans out.

• Sharing fairly 09:13am on 27 Sep 2009 The MrVista video is genius! One could imagine a progress bar for all sorts of things. A person could have a melanotan - afamelanotide tanning progress bar with a target level of brown being 100% and white/pale being 0%. Anyone could see their progress. Or how about a progress bar for hunger? When a person would be very hungry their "fullness" level would be 0% and then as they'd eat the progress bar would increase up to 100% where they'd be completely full. :-)

• Lily unites musicians against file-sharing 08:48am on 27 Sep 2009 Why can't the music business not work out software and/or a program that would actually encourage file sharing in such a way that users could participate where they purchase music a la iTunes but subsequently could share it with their friends in a sort of sales way (but perhaps at a discount) where the more music shared (and sold) they could earn a bit of the profit?

• Time to say goodbye 07:09am on 27 Sep 2009 Hopefully you got up to Sonoma county and/or Napa (just an hour north of San Francisco) and had a chance to sample some of the regions fine wines! If not well that'll be a good reason to come back to the greater Bay Area!
