Budget airline charges for medical emergency 6:38pm on 15 Sep 2009 I have helped out on numerous flights and like one of the other bloggers said, you get little or no thanks (JMC being a noteable exception who wrote to thank me). It was not the couple's decision to divert, but the pilot and medic control ultimately (from my experience).
