Trailer Treachery 2:36pm on 21 Oct 2009 I thought that Antichrist's trailer made it look like another stupid horror movie whereas the film was incredible.
Oldboy's american trailer made it look like a stupid action film and Red Cliff was made to look like yet another chinese war movie - even more ridiculous that they cut the movie down from its orginal runtime!
The Revisitations of Doctor Kermode 5:48pm on 13 Oct 2009 The movie 'Awake' was one that enjoyed immensely the first time i saw it. But i watched it again a few months later and it really wasn't as spectacular and i thought it was the first time around. This is the same with films like Pans Labyrinth, Donnie Darko etc.

A film that i really enjoyed from a second viewing was American Gangster. I really didn't like that movie at all the first time round but watching it a second time really made me like it a lot.

The Blair Witch Project; now thats a film that loses any worth once watched again. I remember seeing it without any knowledge as to what it was about and thought it was real - forgive me, i was young - but i tried to rewatch that as it was on Film4 the other night and i had to turn it off. LOAD OF RUBBISH.

Lady Vengeance, enjoyed it the first time but didn't really like it all that much. Rewatched it a few weeks later in a nice relaxed mood and absolutely loved it. Same with Sympathy for Mr Vengeance, i didnt like that first time around but loved it second time.

The Wrestler - enjoyed it first time round, thought it was quite sad and moving; second time round, was still good but i think it lost something that it had on its first viewing.

I saw Moon as you know, loved it a lot and also picked up a copy of The Strain.

I was surprised at how few cinemas are showing this movie around the country with all the publicity and good reviews its been getting from magazines and such i expected a much wider release. Its a shame as a lot of people are going to miss out on a good film.

Anyways, well done for completely destroying my opinion on 3D cinema and piracy - although I do think red-green is fine for a home viewing of a 3D film.

Hope to meet you in person one day instead of through my Dad.
