Filesharers will either move to servies like HTTPTorrent, or use proxies and VPN.

Everyone else in the country will have a chance be falsely accused of filesharing they have not done, because of dynamic IP addresses that everyone uses and of course a lot of people having unsecure WiFi networks. Maybe even because of someone else in their own house if a family has a shared internet connection - which all homes do, even if everyone in the family has their own computers.

All of this from a twice fired unelected politician. What a great country this is!

Orange's 'unlimited' iPhone 11:53am on 09 Nov 2009 I'd rather have Orange or Vodafone, because O2 has a horrible network. The data network keeps going down everyday, LITERALLY. I am actually phoning them today to complain, because I didn't buy the iPhone for £440 to have such a crappy service.

I'd rather have limited service that works than a unlimited service that dosen't.

If you unlock your phone it will work fine. There are a few bugs with WiFi at the moment because of 3.0 last I checked but they're probably fixed now with the new version of redsn0w, and if not they will be very soon.

If you've hacked your phone, you won't exactly be rushing to update it until the new firmware is hackable anyway, it's common sense.
Networks and the iPhone 2:11pm on 17 Jul 2009 @Mark_MWFC - I know from experience that there is nothing that beats the iPhone out yet. The HTC Hero just might and I think the Palm Pre will, but they still arn't out yet.

I can certainly tell you that - as someone who has owned a iPhone 3G and Nokia 5800 - the 5800 is nothing but I dot on the iPhone's screen.
