It's been a good year for the roses 11:26pm on 15 Jul 2009 I keep reading about "Strawberry Hill" but is it suitable for all soil types? My roses are ridden with blackspot again despite armilotox - is Strawberry Hill as resistant as they say?
Additions to Alys' Garden 00:49am on 24 Jun 2009 I do envy you having chickens. I would love to have a few and I think we have room (the garden is nearly an acre) but I have been told they are very dirty and they scratch up your plants? I also worry about foxes as we are quite rural and I hear them at night. Am I worrying too much or should I agree with the rest of the family who think I am quite mad?
