Who will be crowned kings of Europe? 09:38am on 09 Oct 2009 Great blog, I know everyone keeps going on about Munster and Lienster as two of the favourites for the Hieneken Cup but dont count out Ulster this season. They have made great strides in the off season with new coach Brian McLaughlin reviving the team. Their performance last Friday against the Scarlets was the full package and its great to see a lot of the young boys breaking into the team. Once again Ulster have a very hard group with Edinburgh, Bath and Stade Francais, i just hope they turn some heads in Europe as they have been doing in the magners league.
Kings provide Lions with timely test 02:49am on 17 Jun 2009 Good Blog, We can sit here and guess the test selection all day but knowing Geech i would put a wager on it that not one person gets it right. He is going to put in one selection which surprises everyone, Hines in the back row, Kearney on the wing, even Hook at 12. We're just going to have to wait!
Lions guessing game nearly over 10:02pm on 15 Jun 2009 Hey BOILS, the game is on Tuesday night this week not Wednesday! You might not miss it after all.
Good Blog. I think nearly all of the test places have now been inked in after the release of the team to play on Tuesday night, the one new certainty being Monye. Although there are still some test shirts up for grabs depending on the performances given on tuesday. The one everybody will be watching is James Hook. Stephen Jones is nearly a cert to start the test but he has had no real competition, O'gara is a solid player but he just doesnt have that spark that players such as Hook or Cipriani show!

Hoping for a good game on Tuesday and some good performances! Come on Lions, show those Saffers what we're made of!
