Peter Capaldi on directing Getting On 4:03pm on 23 Jul 2009 I absolutely love this. I'm a teacher - currently not working - and have been doing a bit of voluntary work in Social Care. This is the comedy that comes out in real life and it is the adversity and truth that makes it painful and hilarious.

Writing for Newsjack 12:01pm on 20 Jul 2009 Agonising stuff! Nothing can quite replicate the sinking feeling of knowing that your sketches haven't made it in again - or even one liners. come to think of it, the start of the school holidays with 3 kids under 10 is a pretty low point. Ho hum.
Writers Academy 15 11:55am on 20 Jul 2009 It must be great to get to be in a position to meet the pre-entry criteria to enter the Writers Academy. It's so frustrating to be orbiting around these schemes due to a lack of commissioned or professionally produced work.
