Sunday Sequence visits Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle 09:22am on 08 Sep 2009 Can anyone tell me if there has been a split at Glenmachin Church of God.I was up recently and NO CHOIR singing and place half empty.Ex choir leader Jim Connelly was at PCN when home from America .

Bob Gass his old friend started working with orphans in Romania in 1991. So WW had to have the biggest and BEST at a cost of MILLIONS. Bob Gass his old friend is still working with orphans and still in Romania .Why was he not asked if he could use it? Was it a fear of Bob Gass succeeding were WW failed.

Tabernacle turmoil 3:29pm on 01 Aug 2009 We have so ex and present Whitewell members on here can just ONE person tell me the date of any yearly meeting recently were church accounts were discussed .I have heard odd figures announced but nothing which would amount to being called the discussion of church accounts, maybe im wrong and in all my years i just happened to miss that night.

Megachurch in succession turmoil 7:02pm on 18 Jun 2009 The shepherds of old were men who ate sleep protected and spent almost every moment with his flock ,the Lord in his ministry did the same with the disciples.That familiarity breeds respect trust and the sheep dont have to be herded they FOLLOW the shepherd . Pastor Mcconnell has stated often that familiarity breeds contempt and thats why he doesnt get too close to people .Those close to him will tell you that he has a ferocious temper .He often states that if you are still smoking after 20 years then your not saved.If you still have a bad temper after 60 something years Whats that say ?Theres plenty of verses against anger .A true leader accepts wise counsel .A dictator just bullies
Megachurch in succession turmoil 6:00pm on 18 Jun 2009 Tithes were given in the old testament because the Levites did not own any land .This was given so they could survive while they were doing the Lords work. It was no given so they could go out and buy top of the range clothes cars houses and work a few hours a day .Tithing and giving is rammed down your throat morning noon and night in ww yet were its going remains a mystery .
Megachurch in succession turmoil 5:06pm on 18 Jun 2009 This church may have had Pastor Mcconnell as its leader but it wasnt only him who made it the place it is today .Many people knocked doors ,handed out leaflets drove buses ,helped build and fund all the churches .To say it is HIS and HIs only is terrible.300 members left who called ww there home and who tithed there .The settlement george got is being used to help start up the new church .i bet if it was divided among 300 it wouldnt amount to much . Whats a few thousand to a church that generates hundreds of thousands ,millions even.This was a business decision a few thousand to go and we keep the rest .

Megachurch in succession turmoil 5:35pm on 17 Jun 2009 The reason given regarding home groups not being allowed was that Pastor mcconnell believed a lot of nonsense was told at these meeting which isnt scriptural.The real reason is that he didnt want anyone gaining a following .
