are you serious ? even Chelsea have spent moderately compared to City ? we`ve had 1 major purchase so far in Robinho , how many BIG money signings have Chelsea made over the last 5 years ? Shevchenko , Drogba , Anelka , Carvalho , Essien , Veron, Robben etc the list goes on and on !
Was the game a laughing stock when Chelsea won 2 titles ? How about when Un*t*d won the league last year with Rooney £30m , Ferdinand £30m ,Berbatov £30m ,FakeRonaldo £12m etc was it a laughing stock then ? If you want success you have to spend big ! Is no other team allowed to join the sacred 4 at the top ?
