Have you heard a cuckoo? 8:16pm on 28 May 2009 Hi my sons Sam and Eddie also said to tell you
we have a song thrush in our back garden, it is nesting in the hydranga bush on the garage and they are busy feeding their babies,
as these birds are on a red alert thought you would like to know.
will try to get some video footage to show you.
Have you heard a cuckoo? 7:54pm on 28 May 2009 Hi my name is Dawn my 13yr old Son Eddie was out today visiting local nature reserves with his mate, on his bike, and he wanted to tell you this.
"as i was locking my bike up wondering what i would see or hear today, I heard the call of a cuckoo,I searched it out and was able to see it through my binoculars. I live in Southmoor and i was at the Dry Sanford nature reserve near Abingdon.
Thought you would like to hear about this
Also at the nature reserve today I saw a fox it passed by me very closely and a grass snake so I had a really good nature day. "
