Eurosceptics triumphant 11:18am on 08 Jun 2009 Europe is at a treshold, far from Eurosceptics relying on an educated voter, European policies are representerd differently in every country, depending on the starwmen and spinn meisters of this world.

Now is the time for those who believe that Europe's peacefull period should carry on to unite and form an alternative block to that proposed by the 'unaccountables', the Comission and people like Mandelson, now is the time to propose an altewrnative, more sustainable and accountable stucture for European democracy.
An end to financial mismanament will win trust back, auditors must approve Europes finances and MEP's must agree to financial probety and itemised accounting.
To contemplate a breaking up of the EU would bring back old strife and tribalismns, with the resulting insecurity damaging the entente cordial and free trade accross borders.

The lack of support by the british media and Government for Europe, its institutions and work, is legendary, apart from bend bananas nothing much gets discussed in our media, Europe seems further away than the US, a calamity that must be rectified, because our money is earned in Europe, our history stems from Europe anmd NAFFTA will not step aside and make space for brtitain and its goods, should they despise Europe, it is not a doddle to leave Europe and its union, unless off course, you are pivotal to providing secret banking facillities to anyone who has money regardless as to were it comes from and how much blood is attached to it.
The BNP was let in by noLabour and their fickle voters. For example, to have the gall to refuse an interview opportunity on Radio 4's flagship political programme 'Today', on the day you are launching your Euro campaing, shows how much this Government has lost it. They never fought the BNP, it was left to small parties like the Greens and the SWP who pooled their votes in Birmingham to do the job. Unfortunately noLabour voters could not even be bothered to come out and vote for alternatives that were available, they were too full of themselves to care as to what follows their collapse, good riddance, now we have to deal with these egobrains and hate mongers, they will spread a thouroghly bad taste amongst the rest of Europe, Britain will be judged for providing hooligans with a stage to vent their spleens.
Germany's new dividing lines 2:21pm on 01 Jun 2009 The significance of 1989 and 2009 are tied closer then we might want to credit, The European elections then presented the Green Party in England with 15% of the national vote, except it was the last FPTP election and none won a seat. The wall fell and so the various stages of societal change were visible and still are.
Take 2009, due to the unforseen circumstances of a newspaper expos'e denuding the Governments last integrity, showing that the meperors are not wearing cloth, the Greens are presented with another unique opportunity to win support for their honest and long term policies, this time under PR.

Both 1989 and 2009 will be remebered for differing reasons, one for the demise of the wall, the other for the demise of its ancient politcal system its entry into the 21st. century.
But the common factor is the rise of the Green Party when things get pear shaped, a sign for an underlying support and trust that is widely ignored by the media, academia and public alike.

Should we not point to ourselves first before we strike and point at others, regardless as to which country, why and when?

Would it not be wiser to forget our past unpleasantness, but demand that our referenda on the Lisbon treaty counts. A campaign to make the Commission and all other quango type appointments subject to elections could form future democratic change, equally, open candidate lists for European elections.

gert Wilders is banned due to the mistaken circumstances, terrorism and incitement is taken as more important than global warming in Britain, still, I find it regretable that one is not allowed to throw tomatoes at Gert like one can with other politicians.
Globalisation and past colonial empires have welded many countries into relationships, workers move too in this world and why not, homogenaeic societies will become rare, only in environmental extremes will there not be such a multinational mix.

That is the inevitable result from our centralising and globalising efforts, we have to learn to live with it in a harmonious way and we can.

A greener Germany 4:41pm on 27 May 2009 here in the east of England, Greens are getting more known, but apart from a little recycling their policies are vague.
Sopme greens contemplate using nuclear power, rather than using the dire need for coastal protection to generate energy, their mindset is all for small furry animals, whilst humans will loose Haus und Hof to flooding.

I was amember of the Green Party in germany and in England, but they have left me standing with their allures to attract more media attention through a leader.
Schumacher never said 'big centralised systems are beautiful', so the re organisation of the green Party into a centrally led party, against their fundamental principal policy of decentralising power, has cost them many Green members, but they have gained many old Labourites who like to be led by the nose, so the balance is restored.

Just as the realos in germany had to supp with the devil and ended up being breakfast to UN bombers In Yugoslavia, their focus here has gone off the ball.
Still signs are good with some MPs of the 'three main parties' being found out as fraudsters, some involved in largency, the whole political spectrum has changed to the benefit of the smaller parties, including the Greens and the british National Party. With a little luck voters might actually get a fair vote, not that the BBC will have got anything to do with it, it was their barricades put up in their coverage of elections that has kept Greens down for years.
Now they will even win under the FPTP system, regardless, people are so fed up with the current shower.
Freiburg is great, I hope that one day I can help to bring back the Trams to Norfolk and Norwich, generate green energy from a Wash barrier to equal the power of 2 nuclear power stations, as well as safeguarding 1/5 of the british food supplies grown in the low lying Fenlands, from inundation with sea water.
greens must realise that human values and needs are as important than those of threatened species, we can do both if we put our minds to it.
