MPs' expenses: What needs to be done? 7:56pm on 19 May 2009 I'd like to make an expenses claim for the following items, hope they're not too fanciful:-

1) mtg payments totalling £85K for my one and only home
2) extension for my one and only home
3) full redecoration of my one and only home
4) new car so I can get to work and back to my one and only home
5) food
6) clothes

My list goes on but will I get away with it????????????

Oh I forgot I'm a TAX-PAYER I have to pay for that myself on my meager earnings of £12k per annum before TAX!!!!!!

Just think there are people out there without jobs, homes, and low self esteem all because the greedy fat cat MP's want to live the high lifein their 2 homes!!!!!!!!!!! All the MP's NEED to do "not" offer/volunteer is pay every single penny back especially to those who want a roof over there heads etc......!!!!!!!!!

I know I am painting all the MP's with the same colour brush, but hey if its that hot GET OUT OF YOUR "2" KITCHENS and come back to the real life!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who should be the new Speaker? 7:38pm on 19 May 2009 My dad should be the new speaker, he doesn't suffer fools gladly and by gosh theres plenty of fools in the government!!!!!!!!!
How do you deal with noisy neighbours? 7:32pm on 19 May 2009 A few years ago I had two lots of noisy neighbours music all hours drug taking etc...., I reported it to the local coucil who were as useful as chocolate teapot. I kept a log of all the incidents with dates and times by the time I had got enough evidence on them i found out on both occasions that they had done a midnight flit owing months of rent to the landlord. My tip is grit your teeth get evidence and pester the council until they know you on first name terms. All I can say is I sympathise with all who are suffering and hope all gets better for you soon.
