No grounds for gardening 11:40pm on 17 May 2009 Have to say your hanging baskets on this weeks 30 min challenge were amazing! Very modern. I am new to the show and have really enjoyed all the episodes so far. The pond was also very cool. I have never been a fan beforr but the idea of a raised one really seemed like a fab idea to me. Also this is safer if you have tiny tots around who are keen to explore (as they all are!)
A plantsman's progress 11:18pm on 17 May 2009 Got to say, im really enjoying the new GW show. I am new to gardening and growing veggies, but you guys make it so simple to understand and easy to do. I love the 30 minute challenges too.....even when they're a bit longer! Keep up the good work.
P.s Cant wait to see what the garden looks like when its all done! Just shows you what a bit of elbow grease, some friends and a few cups of tea can do.

I think you Joe and Toby are all fab. To be honest i dont see the point in Carol. Everyone thinks she is fantastic but i just get bored when shes on. I think you 3 have alot more tallent and you work really well as a team. Keep up the good work, and thrifty tips they are awesome! :D
What's hot and what's not 10:53pm on 17 May 2009 Whats hot - The 30 minute challenges are awesome!! I think it just shows you that not all gardening chores need to take forever. These are simple and easy ways to spruce up the garden! Thank you guys! Its also a little infectious, i now try and see if i can get jobs done in half an hour. Most the time its quite do-able :)
What's hot and what's not 7:55pm on 17 May 2009 Whats hot; I am new to gardening. Untill about 4 weeks ago i knew nothing and had never grown anything. Then we began growing lots and lots at the nursery where i work. It was such good fun with the children that i decided to do some of my own at home. Thanks to Gardeners world i am now confident enough to grow lots and lots of things. I really enjoy watching the show and i love toby, joe and alys. These guys work really well together and have a very good and sometimes even comical rapour. You can tell they like working as a team. I know alot of people who are my age (20) who now watch the show as it seems more up beat and....well,cool. I think its great that its attracting a younger audience.

Whats not hot;
Its a bit of a shock to read all the support for carol. why do people want to see her more? Honestly, i watch the show on iplayer and fast forward all of her bits. Her voice i slike nails on a chalk board!!! Please people dont ask to see more of her, or i will have to stop watching!
