Time to explore Singapore 3:43pm on 28 Sep 2009 Hi Jake loved the coverage over the weekend and the win for Lewis lets me year my rocket red victory shirt all day Monday. By the way the shirt is what Martin Whitmarsh was wearing on the forum and is not orange LOL. That interview was brilliant and i loved the way he squirmed when asked about Kimi. He will be back with us in 2010. One last thing is that on the red button the tv schedule said the forum would only be on for about half hour . Im not complaining that we got 75 mins but it ruined my timer recording on my dvd . Cant wait for suzuka . Have a great trip and another great race weekend . Here is to another rocket red victory shirt day in a weeks time
My first time at Spa will live with me forever 11:38am on 31 Aug 2009 Great race coverage , and another excellent clog Jake. I loved the weekend from Friday practice to the highlights show on sunday evening . The BBC are miles ahead of were the other side used to be with the outstanding coverage and numerous ways of interacting . DC and EJ make a great team along side yourself and its the next best thing to actually being at the circuit. This reasons championship is awesome ( even being a McLaren fan !) and is so open you dont know what to expect from 1 race to the next. Cant wait for Monza and another brilliant weekend of F1 . Hope you feeling better soon and keep up the great job your all doing .
The heat, the Ashes, the petrol and sweat 8:47pm on 23 Aug 2009 Hi Jake great coverage again it does get better every race weekend . The interviews with Lewis and Schuy were great and Martins grid walk was brill. He is a legend please tell him from me. The forum was interesting viewing as well with Martin telling us McLaren fans what happened with the pit stop for Lewis , even tho i still dont agree that Rubans was quicker than Lewis and that he would have won anyway. Not so sure myself. Anyway safe journey back mate and looking forward to Spa already . PS did EJ get dressed in the dark before goin on air today !!!
An earpiece of the action 9:22pm on 16 Jul 2009 Hi Jake , i have already commented earlier this week about this blog and have now had a chance to hear the talkback video. WOW, thats awesome and to me a very difficult thing to do and the brain could quite easily get confused with all the stats you were giving out and then the stuff thats being fed in your ear, excellent stuff.

Your doing a first class job Jake and after listening to that its not just a matter of standing infront of a camera and talking F1 to DC & EJ but its all about timing. Have a good few days of before going to Hungary
Leave no Silverstone unturned 9:21pm on 25 Jun 2009 Hi Jake, excellent coverage over the weekend ( i was at SS from Friday to Sunday but have watched a re run of both shows since). Interviews with THE top men in F1 is a real coup for you and the BBC for sure. I enjoyed the interview with Nigel as well , what a man!!. The hot air balloon ride must have been scary enough but with EJ alomg side god knows how you managed that. As you mentioned in your blog all now seems well in F1 again and lets hope peace has finally broke out and us fans can just enjoy the racing from now on. The atmosphere at SS over the weekend was the best i have seen in years and as Lewis and Jenson said on the drivers parade interview, they have been around the world since the start of te season but nowhere are the fans as passionate as in Britain.
Keep up the good work.

Oh PS can you tell Lee that she is even more gorgeous close up. ( she did a piece from the pit straight stand right by were i was sitting)!!! :) :)
Up, up and away 8:09pm on 18 Jun 2009 Excellent blog again Jake, im starting out at 5am on Friday morning for the weekend stay at SS. I cant wait for what will be an emotionally charged atmosphere and im so looking forward to the race. I know that i will be disapointed with the result ( im a McLaren fan so you know what i mean) but i suppose it would be a fitting end for SS if Jenson could do the business for Britain. I got my Sky+ box on record for Sat & Sun to re watch everything when i get back on Sun night. Have a good one and im looking forward to your blog afterwards.

You are a very lucky bloke, what a job you have. being driven around , and then driving around Silverstone must be awesome at the best of times, but in such company and with great cars as well i cant begin to imagine it. I will be Sky + the shows over the race weekend as i will be at the circuit and will love watching the finished articles.

Keep up the great blogs...... ooh and find your passport before France!!!
Hungry for Silverstone after JB's Turkish delight 8:42pm on 07 Jun 2009 Hi Jake, great blog again and so soon after the race is really brilliant. Loving the BBC coverage , it gets better every race. You really do have a rubbish job dont you !!!!!!! pit walks, interviews with the drivers and driving with the current World Champion and the soon to be next one as well. Hope the house move goes well, just dony lose your laptop in all the chaos...... i would hate it if there was no more blogs.
Roll on Silverstone i cant wait to get there

My Bahrain Grand Prix photo diary 06:54am on 01 May 2009 Hi Jake,im new to the blog ( but been watching/ following F1 for 20 years) and i am just lovin the way you tell us ,in your own words and pics, how the whole GP weekend goes from your perspective.The BBC coverage ,IMHO, is excellent and with the red button stuff and forum avaliability it feels like that its not just the race you tune into see on Sundays, but from the moment 1st free practice goes live on the red button the race weekend starts for me. DC is just brilliant and along with Martin gives is excellent insights into a very technical sport. Keep up the excellent work mate.
