All festive here, decorations went up over the weekend as eldest wouldnt stop pestering us, sunday I joined about 7,000 people dressed up as santa and ran around Liverpool city centre to try and beat the record of most running santas. Indications are that Las Vegas have beeaten us again by a few hundred.

I got a few funny looks walking to and from train station, even asked by local police what was going on as they had seen lots of santas walking to the station.

hope everyone is OK.

my guess for advent calender is a present.

my guess for the calender is french hens, turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. Obviously a busy window, bit cramped though.

apologies for the absence.

I will certainly give Simon Mayo a chance when he starts drive time, as TB has said maybe he will be as good or better than Chris.

I just hope that he puts his own mark on the show as trying to copy someone isnt the best thing in my humble opinion.

I wish I knew that before I got to Essex as I didnt get up to much when I was there. flipped around last night which was good but the other night wasnt much fun.

I am OK thanks, bit tired as have spent the last three days in Essex to cover for staff shortage manning the help desk.

Havent been to Essex too many times but was slightly gobsmacked when I called to a row of shops and found a gang of young lads about 14 all carring man bags, wish I had my camera as I would have taken a picture. Now in Liverpool if a lad is carrying a man bag he wouldnt last long.
