• Heathrow's Third Runway: the latest fight over flights 09:08am on 05 Nov 2009 Personally I think placing a third runway at London Heathrow is going to play an important part of continued economic growth in London. It would create new routes, more flights thus there being more jobs and money coming into the country.

• Is marriage a dying institution? 4:23pm on 04 Nov 2009 To be honest, I'm not suprised marriage is in decline with hard working people ending up having to pay out halve of everything they've worked for in some cases, as well as the massive rise in people looking for marital affairs: http://shapley.eu/how-to-have-an-affair/.   That said as a 22 year old, I really do hope to remain with my present girlfriend and one day get married... when I'm confident that we will remain together for the rest of our lives.

• Orange's 'unlimited' iPhone 3:46pm on 04 Nov 2009 Was really hoping Orange was going to come out with something much more competitive. I'm still sold on Tesco's unlimited Text & Call package when my contract comes up for renewal next.

• Growing appetite for mobile data 3:17pm on 04 Nov 2009 Wireless data transfer is deffinitely where the future is, as an affiliate marketeer I've become increasingly depedent on Wireless technologies to keep track of my Income VS Expense.
  
  Where as before I was very isolated to my house & office I can now roam around more or less anywhere I want. The iPhone is deffinitely where still where its at in comparison to other handsets capable of decent data transfer: http://recombu.com/reviews/ especially since offering thethering in the last update.

• BA: Loaded down 3:07pm on 15 Sep 2009 Wee-Scamp - Are you talking about Skype? We use Skype a lot for our conference calls with clients in London (we're based near Leeds) but we still occasionally fly down to see them. That said the accounts department always books our flights to London with Fly bmi because they're usually cheaper!
  
  BA really do sound like they're digging themselves in a hole! Oh well no doubt Gordon Brown will be happy to bail them out with our money to.
• Personal ads - which five words describe you? 6:33pm on 09 Sep 2009 I agree with her on choosing the right site, I was looking for a long term relationship and found eHarmony to be much more successful in finding dates than sites such as Zoosk.

• Bucket loads 10:58am on 07 Sep 2009 @West-Wales I agree the NHS needs to be Nation Wide to ensure everyone gets the best possible treatment. For example the only place in the UK where you can receive a Kidney & Pancreas transplant is presently Oxford. Where would that leave people in Cardiff and other places in Wales?
• A Budget for broadband? 1:34pm on 01 Sep 2009 Sounds like good news to me although I am inclined to agree with earlier comments. My opinion on UK Broadband issues is that upgrading Telephone Exchanges may temporarily resolve some of the issues however its still not a long term solution to the Digital Revolution.
  
  Going from 8 to 24mb (best case scenario) is good but should really only be for those in rural areas. Densely populated cities need fiber optics to keep up with other countries such as Japan and the US.
  
  I have tried many different firms on ADSL, after doing loads of comparisons on http://www.broadband-finder.co.uk with little improvement between them. At this point I wasn't aware that my distance from the exchange was causing the issue, only about 3KM. I can actually get much better speeds over the 3G Network but that still isn't really a good solution because of the monthly bandwidth restrictions mobile carriers currently impose on its users, I pray for the day they open it up for "unlimited" users.
