Ke$ha - 'Tik Tok' 6:19pm on 08 Nov 2009 This is good, it reminds me of Lady GaGa. I did not see her in the Flo-rida video, Right Round. I'll have to watch it again.
Madonna - 'Celebration' 5:22pm on 09 Oct 2009 This song has grown on me. It is a worthy hit to launch her album "Celebration."
She is still more talented than Lady Gaga or any other impersonator.
Livvi Franc ft. Pitbull - 'Now I'm That Chick' 5:19pm on 09 Oct 2009 Pitbull can't rap. He just talks a little and then laughs at what ever he has said.
Backstreet Boys - Straight Through My Heart 5:12pm on 09 Oct 2009 I'm disappointed to hear this Euro-beat sound being used a lot by American artists who used to make R&B/pop. The chorus sounds like a eurovision song from norway or holland. Boring.
Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys - 'Empire State Of Mind' 3:39pm on 01 Oct 2009 I have been to Queens, New York. Most people there were unfriendly. The Koreans were nice and kind. Most people wanted lots of money and they spoke about it a lot.
Jay z talks about the fact that he was once a drug dealer on this record. He does not sound sorry for mashing up people's lives with the drugs he sold them. He is a proud man who has made it while many of his friends are dead or in jail. I hope he retires again and leaves us all alone.

Beyonce must have inspired this.
It does nothing for me whatsoever.
She is very nice to look at though.
She could also gain a few pounds, bit skinny.

Wale ft. Lady GaGa - 'Chillin' 4:42pm on 16 Sep 2009 This is a dumb rap. Who is Wale? At least she doesn't show her panties in this video. This might be why it didn't hit no.1. She sings like Mia [schoolgirl chant] and wanders around a pretend ghetto. This is wack.
Jay-Z ft. Rihanna and Kanye West - 'Run This Town' 7:49pm on 06 Sep 2009 This is a boring song/rap. Every rapper says that they run the town. Which town do they run? Certainly not mine. This song is sold entirely on hype. I don't fall for hype anymore, I'm too old for that. If anyone else made this track then it wouldn't even chart. It is rubbish unless you have fallen for the hype surrounding these uninspired millionaires. Rihanna is not even singing she is wailing throughout this dirge. I hope someone knocks it off the top pretty soon. Kanye, give it a rest mate. You peaked with the song gold digger, now you're a being a golddigger ya'self.
Jeremih - 'Birthday Sex' 8:12pm on 16 Aug 2009 This would appeal to virgin adolescents who think that grown ups always get sex on their birthdays! This was huge in the US where many teens eagerly downloaded it on Itunes or whatever. It charted here in the UK quite easily but today's artists can't make slow jams like they did in the 1980s and 1990s; songwriting has hit a new low while superstar producers like Jam & Lewis and R Kelly seem to be in retirement. This means average teens try their hand at songwriting and come up with nonsense like this track.
Tinchy Stryder ft Amelle Berrabah - 'Never Leave You' 6:14pm on 06 Aug 2009 This is really Amelle's song. She does all the real work. They do not seem like a real couple. The pleas of "I will never leave" sound very false to my adult ears. However. the kids on summer holiday will make this the next number one. Soon Tinchy will probably be replaced by his East London neighbor, DIZZEE RASCAL, who has done another commercial track with CALVIN HARRIS.
A boring summer for us all then!
