BBC F1 film wins prestigious award 5:11pm on 26 Nov 2009 Fully deserved award. I love "The Chain" being back. So looking forward to next season.

Runner up is whoever chose the music to go with the various VT things you've shown this year

but the winner is Harriet for lending you to us for the vat majority of the year and for doing all your packing etc. Fantastic

Also the award for the person who should never be let near a microphone ever again goes to Naomi Campbell for the terrible interview on the Grid with DC

The woman from Sky definitely deserves some kind of award for all the interruptions during the season too!

I can't remember enjoying a F1 season as much as this year. I have loved the banter between EJ and DC and you have done a great job in trying to hold it together (despite EJ's efforts)

The award for "being in the wrong place at the right time" goes to the Schnapps guy. You all deserved that drink.

The award for "the funniest moment" goes to you for driving Jenson round Silverstone. Laugh I almost died! The runner up for this award is Rubens when he let EJ visit him in Portugal.

All that is left to say is Jenson for sports personality of the year, BBC team for whatever awards we can get you into.

I have no idea what I am going to do for 133 days. I have already booked the sofa bed at my friend's place in Abu Dhabi for next year and hopefully I'll be at the British GP at Silverstone (?!) too

Crashing the F1 party 11:45am on 24 Oct 2009 Great blog Jake. Last weekend was incredible! Seeing the complete joy in the Brawn garage and on Jenson's face was something else. EJ jumping up and down with the mechanics was brilliant.

Thought you guys did a great job with the rain interrupted qualifying. I even skipped watching to see the end of the session. Unheard of!

I'm so looking forward to being able to watch the last Grand Prix without having to yell at JL to stop jinxing things ;-) Should be fun! That tunnel coming out of the pits could see some action.

The interview with Bernie was inspired and very funny and I agree with you that Kimi is definitely going to be driving a Macca next year.

I cracked up laughing when Martin referred to Alonso as "Teflonso" on the grid walk. It really does seem as though nothing sticks to him! He deserved his choc ice after a busy afternoon/night commentating.

Glad to see that Martin was very polite to everyone this week! I'm in Paris for the Monza race. Do they have F1 coverage in France?
