Obama still filling out his team 12:20pm on 20 Jun 2009 I get tired of saying this, Americans always revert to type whats the big surprise?
A quieter voice on the Obama speech 9:21pm on 04 Jun 2009 Political left and right are relative terms, in the good ol usa their left starts roughly at the point our german cousins political party that invaded poland was and then turns sharply right and marches off into the distance shouting about flags, patriotism and "for us or against us" rhetoric. (and thats just those so called liberal lefty media types)
Obama v Cheney 6:07pm on 22 May 2009 Hi Justin, a simple question, is all distaste for the USA its culture and its 'values' (the real ones not those espoused) especially those voiced by the Cheney and his clones (bearing in mind a majority voted for those of his ilk) is unfounded and illegitmate? So I am a mindless bigot for not being a cheerleader for the glorious USA? I could go on in this vein for a while but I won't. As Bush and co said 'your either for us or agin us' well guess what I am glad to be in the 'agin' camp. Changing a label on a tin does not change its contents so the fact that they have a new president does not impress me at all.

Dissenting voices on torture covered up? 5:18pm on 23 Apr 2009 Beheading is murder not torture you dont have to wait to be beheaded again. Acid throwing is not done in a controlled environment with more acid throwing on the way in an hour. Chopping off limbs are you confusing some legal system for "torture". Certain inept individuals do not realise that if torture is allowed it becomes routine, human nature being human nature it is then applied more widely, and finally even daily mail readers might become victims.
Dissenting voices on torture covered up? 4:47pm on 23 Apr 2009 Having been "trained" to resist these techniques and having seen them in action I personally would like to meet every individual who thinks this is a necessary evil and apply these methods to them for about 3 weeks and see if I can educate them into sanity.
