The new PM weather forecast... 3:47pm on 13 Oct 2009 We are at the meeting of Eastern Scotland, South West Scotland, North West England and North East England. Will we not get any weather or will we get the worst of each region as usual?
Afghanistan: why? 3:30pm on 10 Jul 2009 If we allowed the farmers to grow and harvest opium, we could purchase it and use it in medecine. No need for the Taliban then, the Taliban lose their funding.
This will not happen, big pharma companies do not want cheap ingredients, it would reduce their profits.

Mandelson and markets 09:07am on 02 Jul 2009 Robert, There is no money floating around. Gordon Brown says he is going to fund investments in NHS, schools etc by selling government assets. Do you know what these might be? Is there somebody out there willing to pay the top rate for these assets, or will it be another case of selling gold cheaply.

They will receive more than £100,000 between now and the election next year, who would turn that down? Only somebody with the country at heart rather than the Labour party and their position in it.

I would keep the BBC, I do not like sitting through adverts, nor paying extra for my food to pay for these adverts.
