Wowed by F1's 'Arabian Las Vegas' 12:46pm on 31 Oct 2009 I think joeychavezbam you underestimate the passion that this emirate and Dubai both have for racing. Phone Directory support and ask for karting centres and there are several around the area (at least two that i know of). My cousin is crazy for formula 1 and no doubt has already been bugging his parents to take him to this venue to experience this exhilarating sport.
The karting centres in dubai (by Sports City) have both indoor (800 metres) and outdoor(1200 metres) venues, and have always been busy when i have gone, and there is a proper race track there too!
There is already a base for the sport in the UAE. Abu Dhabi will still be a race circuit 15 years from now.

Pakistan did their country proud. ATM a very difficult moment back home and this will be something to smile about.

Congrats to Pakistan, but three teams that will be very disappointed; India, South Africa and Sri Lanka, in that order.

India never got going, S.A outplayed at the crucial game and Sri Lanka didnt look the same after 2-2.

Happy Days though!! Know, Hampshire for the clean sweep of county trophies, with the help of another couple of Pakistanis, and I'm in heaven!!

Amir's first over was great for Pakistan in the final, so i would maybe place him above broad, or to a lesser extent, steyn. He's only Seventeen!!! Duminy and albie morkel should be considered too, but probably for the second XI

A question that relates to my name:

Do you believe that Argentina need (or have ever needed) a top class goalkeeper to win the World Cup again, and do you see much young hopes waiting in the wings?
Brilliant Barcelona outclass Man Utd 11:44am on 28 May 2009 Again as a Man Utd fan, I would like to say congratulations to Barcelona, they were the better team and were helped by a great midfield, actually, a great team unit, who have a telepathic understanding of where their team mates are going to be.

They are helped no end by their modest yet extremely talented manager, Pep Guardiola. What i thought extremely endearing about him was the fact that he just waited for the team to revel in THEIR triumph, and had to be given the trophy by Henry. And I'm glad that the best footballing team in Europe one yesterday, just because they carry themselves in such a great manner. To Barca fans, I am very jealous!

I believe Chelsea had the right idea; by stifling Barca you can begin to take the game away from them, but Man Utd just invited Iniesta and Xavi's brilliance to shine through by sitting back. Giving a stage for those two genius' to work on was possibly the worst tactical decision Ferguson has ever made followed closely by selecting Giggs in that midfield( to be honest, i would love to see where he played for most of that game, as it certainly wasnt on the left side of a three man midfield).

But to me a Man Utd man did stand out. Albeit an ex-Man Utd man. Were it not for Pique's courageous block on Park, or brilliant positional play to head out two Rooney crosses with Tevez and Berba lurking, Utd would have had a much happier night. There is of course a case for his sending off, blocking Ronaldo whn clear through, but it wasn't given and after that. He never put a foot wrong. Also, some of his passing from defence cut right through United's midfield (which was poor at best), and right throught to the magicians in the middle. Sir Alex, what have you let go?

In conclusion: OH fit (get those injuries out of the way), new LM (Giggs should retire, love him to bits but he was found out yesterday, played like a 16 year old), Keep Tevez (but for 16 mill, not 25.5), and a maestro in midfield, because Anderson needs mentoring. If anybody reads Tim Vickery's blog, you'll know that Man Utd have not played him in the postion he can take teams to town in.

Also FM is spectacular, the amount of research they must have to go through to get every little detail(ie heights etc, i mean wtf!!) and my enduring memory of a WC is of 2002, just the amount of colour that swamped my tv, twas brilliant

congrats giggs as well, great player, and im proud to say whilst my brother wanted giggs to go and beckham to stay all those years ago, i think im justified by this model pro
