In Chinese "running dog" () can roughly be explained as someone who will do anything to please their masters even though what they did is harmful & deceitful.

Trying to get into Tiananmen Square 8:03pm on 07 Jun 2009 The high turn out of vigil in Hong Kong is due to the financial turmoil which has affected HK severely. Many workers were laid off. Thousands jobless. These people joined the vigil to show the government their frustration. At the same time pressure China to increase thier funding to HK.
In history, Hong Kong people never care about their poor cousins in mainland. All about money only.

The government's top priority is to focus on the reconstruction work and the future of five million quake survivors.

To petition for something after a quake is self destruction.

I personally think that the communist government has been good in handling all kinds of natural disaster. Including this one.
The right qualifications 03:39am on 06 May 2009 In conclusion, persuading skill is a 'must' for politicians in a democratic country. It's even better if you are young and handsome. e.g. Mr Obama of USA.
