Looking forward to Sports Personality of the Year 11:49am on 09 Dec 2009 Ok I dont want to devalue the fantastic achievments of some great sports people this year, however surely for the fairytale story, and the fantastic achievements it has to be Jenson for spoty, and Brawn GP for team of the year! Sorry, to have f1 take over the show but this is an amazing story. Shame not to see any of the Lions team up for the award this year, lets hope Gech wins coach of the year.

BBC F1 film wins prestigious award 5:40pm on 29 Nov 2009 Well Done on the award. Loved the video first time i saw it, all be it was very early in the morning. Will be odd with the first gp being on at normal time, with Bahrain being the first gp. As for the Legard arguement I also dont like his commentary style. I have tried but just cant get into it. The only reason I still choose to listen to BBc1 commentary is because I like Brundle. Its seems a waste to have Crofty on five live, when he would be ideal alongside Brundle. Hopefully Davison will get a drive next year, although he is as interesting to listen to as is MB. MB also has the style, the contacts, and the attitude, pushing people out the way on the gridwalk. The gridwalk is my favourite part of the weekend.

Great coverage today as always. Really enjoyed the BBC coverage this year, and things like the forum, classic gps, Murrays moments/Q&A sessions and of course this blog have made the season great. Love the fact the the man in the street can be made to feel a part of the show. Love the interviews with randoms on the forum, its what we want to see! All the extra little bits have made it great, including great build ups to the shows, we were in awe watching you go round silverstone. I'm sure you know you have the best job in the universe, and you are doing a great job at it. Roll on Bahrain 10. Cant wait.

Great VT as ever. Has been really interesting to hear your views over the year, and i have really looked forward to seeing the videos on the website. I also agree with you on the best British driver/ world champ situation. I have one thing that I want to ask though. Why do Red Bull, (whose factory is in Milton Keynes) not play the British anthem when they win a race for the constructors anthem? I only noticed this after Suzuka, but noticed the same for Mark Webbers win in Brazil. Am I right in guessing its the Swiss anthem?

Crashing the F1 party 7:15pm on 24 Oct 2009 Great blog. Thought maybe the pressure and excitement of last week had got the better of you. Great job done with what was no doubt a mega busy paddock. Well done jenson and every one at Brawn. You were all fantastic!

Pick your classic Brazilian Grand Prix 12:18pm on 08 Oct 2009 2008 please. fantastic drama. The championship decided on the last corner. Plus its a chance for those who think Glock let Lewis past to see what really happened, and that Glock gambled by staying on dry tyres, and it worked, he was in 8th before the rain, and finished 6th.

Your classic Japanese Grand Prix 12:32pm on 30 Sep 2009 Gotta agree with you there. This was one of the best grand prix's Damon ever drove, maybe being beaten just by Spa 98. At the time a little 12 year old boy thought that Damon was going to win the title. Just a shame that we were robbed of a proper showdown a week later. Lets relive the moment though. Williams have lost Ayrton, and the new boy is racing, for the title, and beating Schumacher, in the wet. GO DAMON!

Button deserves credit for rearguard fight 10:40pm on 28 Sep 2009 Put simply, Jenson deserves the title. He has always had quality but not the car. (remember 2004) This year he has made the most of the machinery at his disposal. Ok he hasnt set the world alight in the second half of the season, and im glad that there has been competition, especially from drivers you would not expect to see in that position. But over the course of the season you cant argue with 6 wins. I hope he gets 1 more just to seal it and stop the questions. He may have been in the right place at the right time and fair play to him, but does that mean he shouldnt be champion? No, thats why we love the sport, to see moments like Brawn winning in Aus as a new team. Good luck to him.
