Is this the year you'll holiday in the UK? 10:07am on 25 May 2009 Go on the internet and look up directline holidays as i have just done, i can get a week in luxor in a 4or5 star hotel with return flights included for about £300 each flying out within the next 3weeks, if i look at any 4 or 5 star hotels in the uk your looking at around £80 each a night or try and get a nice holiday cottage somewhere in the lakes at this time of year your looking at around £500! its a no brainer ! valley of the kings, karnak temple, the nile, warm weather every day, great standard of service etc or the odd hill walk, sub standard service, everything to expensive, rain, morons on nights out etc etc , Luxor here i come.

Swine flu - what do you need to know? 10:10am on 28 Apr 2009 Yesterday i said to my wife that i'd bet her a tenner that five live would be doing a phone in about this, and bobs your uncle true to form they've jumped on the hysteria boat on the way to hype island! l,m still stuck on the shore listening to people bleat on about missing their holiday to mexico, how many times do they have to be told that THEY will get a refund or another holiday but no they keep moaning! get a grip.
