I've previously said Brown should be in the England squad, Ferdinand is England's best defender, Beckham should be in the squad (i just don't think he's one of the best players in the World) and i absolutely despise Ronaldo because IMO he's the biggest cheat i've ever seen in the game. He remains a fantastic footballer however, when he's not throwing himself on the floor.

Unless Foster gets himself a move in January (i'm assuming VDS and Kuszczak stay fit & there's no massive change of heart from Ferguson) and shows some form he should stay at home next summer and help maintain Gary Neville's moustache.

you're right that Top level keeping requires something extra - that's why Liverpool got rid of Friedel, James, Carson & Kirkland

and that's why United will get rid of Foster

to say "If he's sold, its not because he's not capable, but because he hasn't responded to Fergie's particular approach" is simply fooling yourself.

Ferguson's been through huge numbers of keepers since Schmeichel retired and it wasn't becuase they didn't respond to his particular approach.
