Chrome - living in a Google world? 4:15pm on 08 Jul 2009 Hopefully this will encourage Microsoft to price Windows 7 more realistically. I'm sure many new computers will come with W7 installed but the price is likely to discourage people from upgrading. It is certainly an improvement on Vista but then XP works perfectly well already. Google may compete more in the netbook arena and I wonder if that will actually affect Apple more who are likely to enter this market at some point with a larger ipod type device.
YouTube row reflects online minefield 8:09pm on 09 Mar 2009 The PRS are completely unrealistic. If you look at their website they expect people to pay for licences if for example they play a track from a computer to a friend at work. In these times they have to be sensible and realise that people will only pay legally to listen to music if it appears reasonably priced, easy, and fair to use. Instead they appear out of touch and greedy.
