5 live review: New Moon 5:49pm on 23 Nov 2009 The 'baseball' scene in Twilight was hilarious, it was so badly shot and edited. The Harry Potter's, whatever you may think of them, are all beautifully made, imaginative, films.

Call of Civic Duty 2 1:12pm on 17 Nov 2009 'Youth' shouldn't be corrupted by it because 'youth' shouldn't be playing it. The game is an 18 certificate. That means, either, uneducated parents are buying it for their kids, or retailers are breaking the law. The problem is with the perception of videogames as being 'just for kids'. I used to work for a company who sold games etc and we'd always have parents coming in to buy 'Grand Theft Auto' for their 12 year olds xmas etc. When I explained the 18 certificate, they'd just shrug and say 'its just a game'. I'd always retort with 'would you be happy to let your child watch 'The Exorcist'? It's only a film!'

5 live review: 2012 5:32pm on 16 Nov 2009 I'm well on board with the CG issue. I remember being wowed by the motorcycle chase in Matrix:Reloaded (made a change from being bored) until Trinity spun the bike around and headed into the oncoming traffic. The camera flew underneath an oncoming truck and kept going. Immediately I knew that was an impossible shot, the traffic must be CG and all the danger (and excitement) was gone.
The Best Christmas Movie Ever 7:26pm on 13 Nov 2009 A Christmas Story for me. Warm, witty and with a nice mean streak.

5 live review: The Men Who Stare At Goats 09:12am on 10 Nov 2009 Who was the twit who took Mark's place last week. The one who called 'Shaun of the Dead' a 30 minute sitcom stretched over a movie, and 'unfunny'. The irony being he was discussing Zombieland at the time, which is, quite literally, two episodes of a proposed TV show stuck together to make a movie running time and has no narrative structure at all. One of the dumbest things i've heard on the radio in some time.
The future of cinema: This Is It 08:39am on 09 Nov 2009 The annoying thing about 3D is - I saw 'cloudy with a chance' in 2D and spent most of the time thinking 'I bet this would look good in 3D'
