Filling in the blanks 2:28pm on 18 Jun 2009 It's interesting that they have not blacked out the little grids of black dots on MPs utility bills. These grids are like barcodes that include the customer's account number. There are utilities on the web that can decode these grids into their plain-text form. If they blank out "Sky TV" for security measures, what about these grids?
Stepping back into Monaco history 08:35am on 20 May 2009 Such an excellent idea! If this works (and with production values like in the vid, it surely must!), it will be fantastic. It'll be brilliant to see the archive footage anyway, but this is a fun, unique, and interesting way to do it. As for the outfit, don't you know that 50's is the way to go in 2009? Keep the shirt and tie for the big day! Thanks for the behind the scenes vid.

Your questions answered - week 1 07:33am on 14 Apr 2009 I have read a lot about how much a dedicated and honest man Dave Ryan was/is for McLaren, and how unlike McLaren it is to have sacked him. Could it be possible that it was Lewis' own decision to lie to the Stewards and Ryan has fallen on his own sword for the betterment of McLaren? Had Lewis himself been disqualified from the entire season, then McLaren's season would be over. Ryan would have known this and has served McLaren to the very end by being "sacked".
Final reflections on a memorable weekend 5:30pm on 30 Mar 2009 This was a brilliant insight, and really interesting. I didn't realise that you write your own script.

I thought that you, DC and EJ were fantastic - you seem like you've worked together for years (but EJ says "alluded to" a lot, doesn't he!?) Great to see MB's gridwalk, and it was as entertaining as ever. The coverage all week was spot on. These blog postings really make the whole thing seem more like an interactive, community experience rather than a traditional "TV show" - please keep them coming throughout the season.
A new look for F1 12:03pm on 23 Mar 2009 Having now used your new-look site for a while, here's a little more feedback for you. Generally, the site is fantastic, but two little things niggle:

1. Your RSS feeds don't contain everything I want. I skim the RSS feeds in Google Reader, and only visit the website when there's something new. When I get here, I realise that there has been loads of new stuff (interviews, videos, etc) that were not included in the RSS feed - this is annoying.
2. Conversely, your homepage does not include everything in your RSS feeds! I am interested in the blogs (Jake's, for example). I read one of his posts in Google Reader, then visit the F1 page to re-read it, or add a comment and I can't find a link to it at all. There should be a prominent link to all the F1-related blogs on the main F1 homepage, please.
3. Your blogs' titles don't appear in Google Reader. They come through as "(Title unknown)" - is there a bug in your RSS feed generation software?

Apart from those three though, I think the site is a vast improvement on ITV's effort, well done.
Welcome to my blog 1:53pm on 06 Mar 2009 Good luck, Jake. You're a complete unknown to me (sorry!) but this blog has been a great introduction. I'm really looking forward to the start of the season, and to seeing F1 back where it belongs. It's great that you're open to being approachable via this blog too!
A new look for F1 2:22pm on 05 Mar 2009 I think it looks brilliant. The black looks good, and the layout is nice and clear. The best bit is that there are no pop-up adverts, and no childish distractions like "pit babes"!
