The Kermode Awards and You 01:24am on 21 Mar 2009 I heard a rumor that Silent Running was written by a little kid in Emporia Kansas.
On BAFTA night no one goes home empty handed 01:22am on 21 Mar 2009 Several people claim to have written Silent Running. Steve Bocho, Mike Cimino, Deric Washburn and the director all tried to take most of the credit and claimed that alomost everyone else wrote nothing or almost nothing. So who wrote what on Silent Running?

The Kermodes: Make Your Case 00:28am on 21 Mar 2009 How about a lifetime achievement awards. And how about going back in retrospect? Do it for each year going back to 1900. 1972 SILENT RUNNING should have gotten best actor, Director, movie, and screenplay. And it was nominated for none of these.

Why, because the money men didn't want an enviromental film to raise issues about global warming.

Why because everyone in a position of power has already abased themselves before the devil. The people in power most of them are whores, that is how they got there. and good men who try and stop the downfall are usually left in a minority of one and then tortured. So should it surprise you that the end result is RAMBO 4!

Opinion: Planet Terror 11:44pm on 20 Mar 2009 Yawn, I found this film really boring, not even a good spoof of exploitaion film. See from DUSK TO DAWN instead.
