Lady GaGa - 'Bad Romance' 3:49pm on 27 Nov 2009 Well obviously I was stating my opinion too. I dont feel the need to stick "in my opion", whenever I do. Its a blog, a forum of opinions. So when people post one, often I post one too. Sorry if you felt I was getting at you. Music is a very personal thing and I wasn't judging you.

I'm off to see Lily tomorrow night, I'll let you know how she is!

Try Adele, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Duffy (perhaps lol), Amy MacDonald, Little Boots, LadyHawke, Bat for Lashes, Lise Hanningan, Emmy the Great, Florence and the Machine.

Well those are who I got from a quick scan of my iTunes as fantastic female singer songwriters. Lady Gaga is not without talent... but I really dont rate her above any of these women.

I think it needs another star. Great track. Love a bit of epicness every now and then!

I actually love it, especially put into context of release. I thought she'd come back with a RnB dance smash (thinking please don't stop the music but slightly different).. maybe something featuring Jay Z or Kayne West or some other random American artist to give the track "credibility" .. instead we have this odd half ballard thing. Its quirky but yet has her signature.

Im so surprised that I like it. I was ready to hate the next Rhianna release. Im not a massive fan. Some good RnB dance stuff, average ballards .. generally a bit rubbish .. all things I'd have said about her previous work. Im fully expecting the next song off the album to be rubbish.

However I am enjoying this.

Her best ballard? Not sure. Didn't rate the others, so perhaps. Im not sure Id class this as a ballard, in terms of 'Take a Bow' or 'Unfaithful' anyway. It's different, has an edge to it that the others didnt, in my opinion.

4 stars, will make my iPod for a while anyway. A classic? Perhaps not. A bit forgettable? Perhaps. Best thing she's done (second to 'Please don't stop the music')? Yes.

Lady GaGa - 'Bad Romance' 10:58pm on 18 Nov 2009 Better than some of the other drivel to come off the album .. but its not amazing. I might like it more if it wasnt for the rah rah ra ra rah rah thing. Although I strangely love that bit a bit. The song sparks up a range of emotions in me.

I suppose that is part of her brilliance.
JLS - 'Everybody In Love' 11:15pm on 17 Nov 2009 I guess he's also referring to the fact that the last 5 week's number ones have all sang on X Factor. It indirectly influences charts with artists appearing on it. Then factor in that songs sun by contestants often rechart, X Factor (and thus Mr. Cowell) does affect the charts greatly.

I chuffin love X Factor though.
Little Boots - 'Earthquake' 01:49am on 16 Nov 2009 'Click' is another fav of mine.
