I think that's traditionally the point of werewolves: that they're victims even more so than their prey. I've nothing against the idea they can learn to control it, but that eradicates the whole curse aspect of it. Then it's like some unfashionable super power.
WEREWOLVES 4:07pm on 30 Apr 2009 Michael J. Fox, likable as he is, was more wereyak than werewolf. In Italy, the title leaves out the werewolf part altogether: "Will to Win." Movie was put on ice until Back to the Future became a blockbuster, and ice was where it should have stayed.

I don't think George has much competition for best werewolf on screen. He's as sympathetic a character as I can remember in any series or film in a long time. He also didn't die right away, as most werewolves on screen do for the sake of convenience.

I'm sure no one else cares, but I rang up the store where I bought them, and turns out those weren't even Polo, but Haribo. Store owner had never heard of Polo and asked me to describe it.

Glad someone suggested the scene with George, Julia, and Julia's boyfriend. That's the only time I can remember the lycanthropy thing coming in handy. Well, all right, up until Herrick.

Quite. I thought I had heard of every candy from Great Britain, but Polo Mints prove to be the exception. They sound just like Life Savers, which probably explains why they are not exported to any greater extent. Although "You smell like a Life Saver" wouldn't be funny or cheeky at all. Hmm.
THE MUSIC OF BEING HUMAN: SOUNDTRACK TO THE END 2:26pm on 25 Apr 2009 Bit of an afterthought, and I doubt anyone reads this far back, but "Future Foe Scenarios" by Silversun Pickups seems an almost obvious song for series two.

The funniest George quote to me is, "I think that's actually racist!" followed by "Oh, shut up!" and an immediate change from hilarious to hurtful. There's so much crammed into those few seconds, it reminds me of an Oscar reel.

I agree with andiecane the "ovulation" one is ace, also.

I'm still in the dark what a polo smells like, whether a polo horse or a polo shirt. Polo Brindisi? Surely not.
THE BIG QUESTION: ARE ANNIE AND MITCHELL THE PERFECT COUPLE? 10:10am on 28 Mar 2009 The perfect couple? Ba-pssch.

An acceptable couple, perhaps, but Grygazol made the best point. Not only would it distance George from Mitchell and Annie, but also, Mitchell and Annie would never be able to go back to before.
