That was horrid, Henry 2:24pm on 19 Nov 2009 you are right, it's time for more fairness even if it's only the irish, bojangles. but england and ireland are not the only victims. there will always be an element of this. maybe if enough attention is paid something will be done. but it's wrong to blame the players who only look to do their job. henry is pure class and to put him in the category w/ maradona over that kind of a handball is wrong from where i sit...

Brazil's new breed of guard dog 9:12pm on 09 Nov 2009 i think dubga is way off base regardig arsenal at the moment and that must be down to the loyalty factor you mentioned. in fact, arsenal have a great chance to win the league this year if two things happen. first chelsea drop points during ACN as expected. and second, if hargreaves DOESN'T return. the kind of quality he has shown in the few, but important games he 's played for united in the past he could end up their savior as manu desperately need that kind of quality now. but if those two events happen arsenal will prob win the league narrowly holding off chelsea...
Time to tell Fergie to ref off! 5:14pm on 09 Nov 2009 exactly correct on the ref criticism and fergie- thats just footy and some feel they are more deserving. perhaps justified given their records, however, the blinders do seem to pop up at the most appropriate times, don't they? as for fergie i think he is doing this to draw the attention away from the problems in the team, much like mourinho did w/ chelsea, but in a different way...even though they are young i can see arsenal taking the title this year. w/out the silly mistake everybody saw what happened against manu and i doubt that will happen again. if they take the points from chelsea i think they will do it esp if chelsea lose points during ACN as expected...finally, hargreaves could be the savior for manu and play spoiler to the other two- boy do they need that kind of class at the moment...

Ancelotti ready for Man Utd challenge 11:21pm on 07 Nov 2009 it's time people stop talking about manu and chelsea and realize the title is arsenal's to lose. they took apart manu losing only to bad luck and let's see how it goes against chelsea next time. THIS could be the decider. if verm contains the drog and anelka doesn't play at 100% it will be very interesting, esp as they will undoubtedly drop points during ACN...the spoiler could be hargreaves if he returns to form manu are in w/ a much bigger chance...

Wentworth's dramatic overhaul exceeds all expectation 00:59am on 31 Oct 2009 part of the problem is the way we view things. this goes across many parts of life and not just golf. of course golf is a global game now. and yes, it has much to do w/ money. it's not a usa thing or a european thing or an asian thing. this is sport. if you want the BEST in sport on the planet the future will be enjoyable for you. if you are only interested in YOUR home country or continent, then sport will frustrate you in the future. the players want not only to earn as much money as they can in their sporting life, but also to compete against the best there is on the planet. why do you think players are so happy winning the BIG events now? b/c they know they have won against the best there are! and when that field includes tiger, well then that makes it all the sweeter. we will continue to see a global shift across sport. american football teams playing in the nfl based in europe. a super-world league w/ the best footballing teams (soccer) wouldn't surprise me either. man u want to be the best in the world, not just the prem. same goes for barca in spain or bayern in germany. we need to stop thinking devisively. for the business side it's image and branding, but for the sportsmen- they want to know they really truly are the best in the world for their victories...
Wentworth's dramatic overhaul exceeds all expectation 4:39pm on 30 Oct 2009 still wouldn't be much change at the top,monty, guess who hits a 1 and 2 iron better than anyone else? remember bethpage black the 1st time?? the course changes may help bring a few more european tour pros, but the real problem is still the schedule and the euro tour fighting for euro players. dunno how much will change there as i've never seen a proposal that looked like it made sense for the players. show me one and i'll push it on the air...ideas anyone?
