The 10p tax rate for savings income still exists.

It's not "I never lie", as in "I never knowingly tell untruths". No, Brown goes for "my word is gospel".
Consulting other parties 3:30pm on 18 Jun 2009 I am hereby calling an enquiry into why this Iraq War enquiry is such a farce.

The Digby Enquiry will be held in public on this here weblog. The enquiry will have no powers to command individuals to attend, and be incapable of apportioning blame to those individuals who are clearly culpable. The aim of the enquiry will be to clear the air surrounding this balls up and sort of sweep it under the carpet.

The prime minister is safe - for now 3:28pm on 09 Jun 2009 If Gordon Brown is so good at dealing with the McGlobal Economic Crisis, why doesn't he move back to being chancellor?

I mean, if he has the good of the country and the Labour Party at heart, and he is the best man to deal with the McGlobal, why are we distracting him with other issues ranging from consitutional issues and MPs' expenses to Susan Boyle's well-being?

He has little or no experience or authority when it comes to anything outside of the Treasury.

Genuinely, I would rethink my loathing of Gordon Brown if he were to step down as PM to become chancellor again.

I'm not saying he would be any good, I thought he was absolutely awful as chancellor. But it would make me believe that he actually believes what he says about being the best man for the job.

Because he's clearly not the best man to be Prime Minister. I think that is simply undeniable.
