What did you think of The One Show? Guest: Omid Djalili 7:44pm on 17 Jul 2009 Me too, I'm all for a bit of entertainment, and I found the programme well done overall. If anything, the piece on the conspiracy theories made it even clearer how laughable they are, if thats what we can come up with using today's technology (although with a very limited budget), how did they manage a fake of that magnitude and believability with 40 year technology?

Guest: Omid Djalili 7:26pm on 17 Jul 2009 I'm sorry, but the conspiracy theory have been consistantly disproved time and time again, by considerably more eminent people than your "photography expert". Why are the same theories put about time and time again...cheap time fillers maybe?
Supermarkets - where do you shop? 8:12pm on 02 Feb 2009 I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands, where we have two supermarket operators: the Channel Islands Co-Operative Society, and Sandpiper, who run the Checkers chain, and have the franchise to run Marks and Spencer. There have been calls over here to allow a third operator to come into Jersey, which, to date, have been rejected by the States of Jersey. The reason for the rejection has been that there is no need or desire for a third operator, even though a survey carried out by the local consumer affairs watchdog showed there was an overwhelming desire for a third operator (about 85% in favour if my memory serves me correctly), which seems to have been ignored. What we'd give to have a little bit more choice! Maybe you could come over and see what a lack of choice does for consumers?
