Rafa's Red Missed 1:19pm on 27 Jan 2009 Some valid points but how on earth can you say that Torres is his only decent signing? Is Reina not now regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe? Do you not hold Mascherano and Alonso with the same amount of regard as a lot of top European clubs do? Are Skrtel and Agger not two of the best centre halves in the Premiership?
I'd argue that Benitez has a pretty decent track record in the transfer market. Have Ferguson, Wenger and Mourinho never bought a "dud" player? It's easy to jump on the Benitez knocking bandwagon at the moment but at least have a think before making a statement like that.
