Why didn't MG Rover's inspectors call in cops? 12:09pm on 07 Jul 2009 Other than the fact that I agree with Beatsy about the sweep it under the carpet analogy. This is typical of this incompetent, impudent government (and all the parties are the same).

The crux of the question falls back to Mr MacGregor and his QC colleague, Guy Newey - £16 million, nice revenue streamshouldnt the SFO be investigating them, or is that statement a little to near the knuckle.

One thing to add, is that if find it strange that the BBC is reluctant to demonstrate transparency with how it dispenses public monies in salleriesyou know it will all come out eventually and the resistance will look like it just has in some other big national body.I would say be part of it before you look a fool and its blown up to be bigger than what it is..personal contracts.puuph.!!

They need to dig themselves out of this that they put themselves in by carrying out some positive corrective actions and prosecute those that have fraudulently been claiming public money under the vain reasoning of ‘it’s not against the rules’. Well sorry; if you contextualise the rules these actions ARE against the rules.

The cost of bringing banks home 12:37pm on 14 Jan 2009 I very much agree with Nataku regarding bringing more un-elected persons in to do what some of the incompetent misister should be capable of doing.....but are not...

It gives me some bad taste in my mouth regarding the personnal links with these un-elected people, either that of the possible future intentions, its all open to question.
