i have been very excited this last week to see the pics on here and FB of CLP with the bloggers - he seems genuinely pleased to see everyone - mega hug, Beez!! - and each day i wonder whose turn it will be today for a pic on here!!

nice day lined up today - few jobs to do this morning and then later off for a drink or 3 to celebrate an ex-colleague finally leaving the place i left 10 years ago!!!

I have decided to start a collection... 11:22am on 07 Oct 2009 tins - i don't think its sad at all! even though most of us haven't met and even though i'm only an occasional blogger i think you're right that we like to hear about each other's lives and help/support where we can! i've never used a blog before but this seems to draw you in - just can't help getting involved!

and the number of references the blog/bloggers get from CLP he obviously likes it too!!

well done everyone on meeting CLP at the various book signings - and how fab ladies to have your pic on the blog!!

feel like not done very much this morning but decided time for a coffee anyway! so the blog is now going to distract me even more!! can't think of a better place to be on a wet gray day in Cornwall!!

Recording... 11:38am on 18 Sep 2009 Morning all! quick drop in before collecting small boy from school.

That Victoria Wood song always makes me laugh!! Mind you lots of her stuff does, even if i've seen/heard it lots of times over!

I would think reading out a whole book will take AGES - especially cos if you "um" or "er" or stumble over words I guess you have to start again! (imagine how Stephen Fry felt with all the Harry Potters!) But great that it is read by the writer himself!

We used to love Winnie the Pooh tapes (that long ago!) in the car - now graduated to Matilda on CD which is a 3 disc job!! Trying to put some on small boy's MP3 player for our hols - but not an "i" one so am struggling a bit!

Oh and CLP - where can you get a silver Buzz like that?!

Salad, salad, salad, salad, salad, salad, salad.... 10:18am on 16 Sep 2009 Eb - my son (now 4) was a right horror to get to bed when he was little. big shock to the system i can tell you after his sister who just lay down and never got up again till morning!

it is really hard work isn't it? i would have given in a lot more and let him get in with us but my husband was firmer!!

that supernanny thing of putting them straight back every single time without saying anything is fine initially but after 2 hours no wonder you were on your knees!!!

we always used to say "its just a phase" as that made it seem like it wouldn't go on for ever!!

Salad, salad, salad, salad, salad, salad, salad.... 10:03am on 16 Sep 2009 Well Hello there everyone! seems AGES since I had time to sit here and actually post something rather than just quickly dip in and out! how's everyone doing?!
I just had to say that all this talk of winter stew is making me hungry already and it's only 10 o'clock! AND I had porridge this morning!!
I think CLP will do a fab job at breakfast - and i can see with a small child it might work a lot better for him! and did i hear on the news last night that Simon Mayo is taking over drive time? Bet that'll be met with mixed reviews!
Aaahhh - its good to be back!!
