Setting out our ambitions for 2012 10:53am on 01 Dec 2009 Roger, You used The Chain for Formula 1, and that has proved that there is nothing wrong with using a signature tune with some historical significance.

Brilliant Formula 1 coverage this year. The whole team were great and the quality was top class. Anything new to look forward to for next year?

Best of luck for the Olympics. I think the whole thing is a waste of money, but as we've got it I'm sure, and hope that the BBC will do a great job.

I think it is obvious that Brundle doesn't like Legard, so are you suggesting that the BBC have a merry-go round of commentators until they find one that Brundle likes? It's not up to Brundle liking them or not. He should just get on with commentating. I don't think he was as good this year, but I think the BBC should stick with what they've got.

I agree with you about the Intro though. Actual footage would have been better, but it was still fantastic.

I would prefer next year's Title Sequence to have actual race footage from different seasons, with The Chain of course. But this year's was fantastic, as was the coverage overall.

I thought Jonathan Legard did a good job and anyone who wants James Allen back needs their brain testing.

Thanks to the BBC for the excellent Formula One coverage this year. It has been brilliant. Every member of the team, from presentation to commentary has done a superb job.

Could I ask about Formula One in High Definition for 2010? What is the progress on getting Bernie to provide a HD feed for the BBC to broadcast?

Your classic F1 season finale 4:34pm on 01 Nov 2009 Dear Andrew,

I can't remember who it was but one person suggested a "Classic Season" feature, with each race from that season repeated over the winter break. I think that is a SUPERB idea.

I was the original advocate of the "Classic Races" idea (Autosport, July 3rd 2008. I still have the issue!), and this idea is brilliant. Please consider it!

A fascinating Blog, as always. Here were my predictions before Qualifying:

1. Sebastian Vettel
2. Rubens Barrichello
3. Mark Webber
4. Lewis Hamilton
5. Jenson Button
6. Kimi Raikkonen
7. Nick Heidfeld
8. Nico Rosberg.

I think you've done a great job commentating this season. The BBC coverage as a whole has been brilliant, and I think you've done a great job as well.
I'm sure you'll be continuing for next year, and I'm also sure next year will be as hard to predict as this year!
