The Kermodes: Make Your Case 00:54am on 10 Jan 2009 Mark, can I just ask you? When you compile your Kermode Award Show and Best Picture of the Year-lists do you go by the UK-premiere date (which means for instance Benjamin Button or The Wrestler isn't eligible this year) or do you go by the year that's registered on The Internet Movie Database i.e. premiere in it's production country?
Annual Report: The Worst, Classics of Their Kind 00:47am on 10 Jan 2009 Mark, there's four things that excludes The Exorcist II from the list of worst movies of all time:

1 - Ennio Morricone's score is quite excellent
2 - It's so bad it's actually pretty satisfying to watch
3 - Linda Blair's looks ;)
4 - Any movie with the line "I flew here on the wings of a demon" strictly cannot be the worst film of all time ;)
