Totally agree, as I said earlier he came on yesterday and was a bundle of energy and contributed to the comeback no doubt. He linked up well with Evra on a number of occasions and looks a good prospect. On the negative side does anyone feel that Nani just hasnt got what we all thought he did or is there still time for him to blossom?
New dad Rooney born to star 12:43pm on 04 Nov 2009 Less of the silly little arguments that come up on these boards after someone writes a blog, just concentrate on the positives, Man United through after some sloppy defending albeit the game should never have been in doubt.

United were clearly the stronger side as Sir Alex said created several chances in the last 25-30 minutes to equalise, even win the game. Job done last 16 here we come. More positives are the performances from Macheda and Obertan gave me optimism, Macheda, if a little rash in his decision making, is strong, quick and looks a good prospect. Obertan came on was lively and looks to go at the player with pace unlike slowing the game up like Nani and Valencia. All in all some good things to come out of the performance.
Ferguson talk must please Man City 12:22pm on 18 Sep 2009 by cocky, I think Ferguson's point was the way City have gone about their business, putting themselves in contention for a title already when they have beat 3 poor teams and arsenal.

They will always be the second club in Manchester regardless if they win on sunday or not. also by 'grabbing' Fergusons attention - they have hardly gone about their business in subtle fashion, hence the ridiculous welcome to Manchester posters around Manchester, something you would expect a fan to come out with not the clubs advertising department. that is as Fergie puts it poor stuff designed to rile United up, but in reality City will always be that small little club down the road in envy of the Mighty Manchester United!
Ryan in wait 2:05pm on 16 Feb 2009 with regards to the Blue bells chant of boring, boring Man Utd, there couldnt be anything further from the truth! The attacking wealth Utd have at their disposal is Awesome and although Utd keep clean sheets Utd are not a defensive side, neither fergie a defensive coach.... something the goatied manager down the road could count as his failure!!
Review of the week 4:38pm on 14 Jan 2009 Chris, I dont think you need a reason to explain yourself, if that is indeed your opinion you are entitled to give it , it was a rant full of half truths and non-facts whether Liverpool fans like it or not. As Sir Alex says I think they realise its 'squeaky bum' time now and we will see what mettle they are really made of!!

Fantastic article as always, however to say that in England we do not care about tradition is partially true - look at the fading popularity of the FA cup, once a cup every team strived to win now is not so high on the big clubs agendas, Not something I agree with but money talks these days. Being a Manchester United fan however we, as you know are a club steeped in History one we look back on with pride - Pre 1992! This year also being an important year as we may level Liverpools league tally on 18, which will bring some more banter we can throw at them lot down the road!
