The Bride Wars Challenge 5:12pm on 01 Sep 2009 What about Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus, obviously as soon as you see the title you know its gonna be bad but this got a theatrical release on the basis of people watching the trailer on you tube.
Obscene Publications Act 6:08pm on 30 Jul 2009 The thing I can never get over is these newspapers that complain about films like Antichrist still dont realise that all they basically do is give the film more free publicity.

As soon as someone says this film is sickening etc people will go to see Antichrist where as without the articles in the paper your average cinema goer would probably never even of heard of the film as its unlikely to be trailed on TV during soap operas.

Surely as someone mentioned earlier Transformers 2 is a far more offensive film than Antichrist. I didnt see any racsim in Von Triers film and id say in most ways treated women far worse than anything than "She" does to herself in Von Triers film. Maybe the press are scared to campaign against films like Transformers 2 because of the Spielberg connection
Review: Terminator Salvation 6:39pm on 08 Jun 2009 The biggest problem with T-S is thats its possible along with Wolverine one of the most boring action films ever made. Ill pretty much watch any rubbish but I struggled to keep my eyes open throughout T-S. There was also to much pandering to Fanboy stuff, like Connor getting the scar seen at the start of T2 and the CGI Arnie. As for the T-600s they are less realistic than than T-800 from the original film with is over 20 years ago
Tab me to hell 11:49am on 06 Jun 2009 Ive always felt that when something horrific happens the press and indeed in some respects the public have always felt the need to blame something whether its video games or horror films because the alternative is even more worrying which is that some people do horrific things to other people not because they watched a film but because they can.
Pieces of blog and even more of your 3D thinking 00:21am on 14 May 2009 As has previously been mentioned The FACT cinema is excellent in Liverpool and is pretty much the only place locally you can get to watch the likes of the excellent Let the Right One In, its relaxing and in my opinion the people who tend to go there are people who go to watch the film and not to eat popcorn and talk about the price of fish.

Also cant speak highly enough of the Woolton cinema which is liverpools oldest picture house, its recently re-opened in the past year and I believe is doing great business not only with showing big blockbusters but having themes like Laurel & Hardy showings. If you go there its genuinely like going back to the 70s and 80s, when i first started my cinema addiction, they still have intervals!!
What you walked out of 2:19pm on 09 Apr 2009 I didnt walk out butI fell asleep watching Star Trek V the one were they go to find God, and when I woke up my mates had left saying that not only was the film bad my snoring caused them to walk.

Only film ive walked out was Sex and the City leaving my gf and her sister to sit through the dross.

More Points of You: Part One 11:43am on 20 Jan 2009 Watched Slumdog yesterday. Have to say not only is it the best British film in a number of years its got to be up there with one of the best films in the past 5 years. Cant remember walking out of cinema and thinking I wanna go back in and watch it again. By all acounts it cost 15million to make yet looks like it cost 150 million. Danny Boyle is everything to cinema that people like Bay, Ritchie etc arent. ie original exciting and fresh.

Greatest Working Actress.

After many drinks etc there were numerous suggestions for actor and director but we could only find actresses who we enjoyed watching but none we actually admire as a great actress. Personally I went for Del Toro (The geek in me allowed nobody else) for director, Viggo Mortenson though I think Daniel Day Lewis is a better actor he doesnt work enough and best actress Cate Blanchett purely because I cant think of anyone else
