Your review of "Law Abiding Citizen" confirmed what I thought of it from seeing the trailer, in that it looked like "Saw". As has been written out, the Saw Theme ("Hello Zepp") has been used in trailers Deja Vu, Valkyrie, and more recently The Box.

P.S. Star Trek would perhaps also be my feelgood film of the year, the first viewing being because of how Trek-literate it is and, as you say, it is "terrifically enjoyable".

The version of "Christmas Slay" that I recall is the one where Santa's eventual replacement plays a man defending his family from an alien. He dropped out because of the violence and swearing.

I've seen 'Tormented' and anticipated the flicked-to-death-with-a-wet-towel scene. The victim wasn't killed, but merely had his eye dislocated. He died a minute or so late when being impaled on a spiked railing.

As a Mary Poppins fan, are you aware (most probably) of Disney's "The Gnome Mobile" which also stars (the film actually credits this) 'The Mary Poppins Kids'?
What Jennifer Aniston's Best Friends won't tell her 6:52pm on 02 Oct 2009 What I know is, is that when I saw the trailer for "Love Happens", when the caption 'Jennifer Aniston' appears over image, my thought was "No s***."

As for whose image is suitable for TV or film, is there a definitive criteria for a cinematic physicality? What about people who want to make films that are true-to-life as possible?
