I am not a fan of your comments and am constanly disappointed in your lack of interest in real business rather than just gossiping about banks.

But I think it important that we all wish you well at this time.

Well yes!! its is all about statistical facts, that how you decide a recession.

However you may be looking forward to a bleak winter but there are many people out there now seeing lots of new opportunities and grasping them. You keep moaning mate and we will go on to develop the new opportunities. Then in 3/4 years people like you will be saying that people got lucky, not that they just saw some positive signs and made things happen!!

I agrree its all about opinion and I also respect yours. I do however believe that Robert peston seems untouchable and unaccountable for any of his comments. I also feel he has no real feeling for the damage his comments may cause.

Excellnet point well made. The BBC and Robert peston are desperate to keep reporting bad news. Look at all the programmes on BBC at the mo which are all focused around the down turn. Its the old story that good news does not sell. Also Robert only has the ability to discuss banks so now real insight on whats happening business wise from him any way.

You find this beyond belief, what abot the guy who writes the blog who has no interest or experience in business, but just banking and things that happen in his own little world. Is show the BBC for what it is. A London based old boys network!!!

I just wonder is you ever take any responsibilty for any of this!! I know you were not involved in the business but you were at the front end of any negativity in the banks and anything else that got the general public to start fearing the worse!!!
