Changing Britain's relationship with Europe 01:21am on 30 Oct 2009 It would be interesting if all the UK Superstate reps were UKIP and the BNP.
Many other countries are doing the same thing, voting for people who do not want to be part of the Superstate.
We can make our voice heard.
Sorry Dawn (and Monica)! 12:18pm on 14 Oct 2009 There is a strange thing happens when politicians get to Stormont, they become deaf blind and dumb to all that is not in their agenda.
No longer do they listen to the people who put them there, the concerns of the people have to take a back seat, or the trash can.
So engrossed in there own thoughts, it is impossible for them to help or even recognise there are real people, with real lives who are being ignored by them.
The awful thing is I don't think they even realise what they have become.
Try writing to them and see what I mean.
Our politicians have become very important people in their own little bubble, not much use to the likes of me.
Has he got a Legg to stand on? 4:07pm on 13 Oct 2009 Never seen such passion before in politicians, they are angry, they are infuriated in fact, displaying an outrage I never thought possible for or rather mild, (always laughing in the face of our adversity) whip lashed MP's.
At last they are in full fight mode, they are determined, they really are showing a tough side previously unseen.
Pity it is in defence of their greed.

Seems our politicians are more interested in hunting down the hero who leaked their expenses than those that are trying to blow us up.

I think it would be amazing if the SUN refused to back any of the main parties and pick one from the fringe.

Tony Blair will be the UK's official candidate for EU president, Baroness Kinnock has apparently confirmed.

The post will only be created if the Lisbon Treaty is ratified by all EU states - Ireland is to hold a second referendum in October.

He is a down to earth politician that I admire, not many politicans I can say that about.

The only thing they agree on is they know better than us lesser mortals.
It would be laughable if they just thought it, it is a sorry state of affairs when they impose their ideas into our personal lives and choices.
