Take part in BBC iPlayer Day this Friday 12:48pm on 15 Dec 2008 The BBC iPlayer is great. Like many however I wanted to view it on my TV rather than my Mac and now I can.

I am the fortunate owner of an iPhone which has an iPlayer site. If you have home wifi just navigate to the programme you want to watch and then plug the phone into the television using the Apple Component AV cable (http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MB128ZA/B?fnode=MTY1NDAzOQ&mco=MjE1NTI2OA) and then switch the TV to this input. It couldn't be simpler.

One gripe some iPlayer stuff is not available at the same time on the iPlayer mobile site but it gets there eventually.

Keep up the good work BBC!
